Dear President Trump. Lets try another tack. We are all rats bred for a giant cosmic lab experiment. Certain parameters we cannot change. The lab, for now, is earth. The experiment is ongoing but we usually participate in it anywhere from one day to one hundred twenty years depending on a number of factors. It’s a simple experiment. The thesis question is: How well can humans survive in the wilds of earth? Sub questions for study include, 1. Will they struggle together or go it alone? 2. What types of relationships and social structure will they create? 3. What moral and ethical norms will emerge? i.e. Will they compete or cooperate or find other behavioral styles? 4. What common beliefs, myths or stories will they develop to succeed? 5. Will they ever figure out they are rats in a maze and conjecture as to who the rat master is? 6. Will we develop functional methodologies of love, grace and forgiveness or rely on dominance, greed and the lust for power. 7. Is there an endgame? What happens next? Balls in your court Mr. President.
